This talk will be presented by Sean James.

Sean is Landscape Ontario’s Garden Communicator of the Year for 2020 and 2021. He is a hobbyist, professional gardener, Niagara Parks School of Horticulture Graduate, Master Gardener, writer, teacher, radio and TV garden celebrity! He is a speaker from the Maritimes to Seattle and from Nova Scotia to California. Sean’s focus is on eco-gardening techniques and he has had the honour of participating in the creation of several valued resources such as the new ‘Ontario Landscape Tree Planting Guide,’ the ‘Grow-Me-Instead’ guide, and the Master Gardeners Reference Manual. Sean has also participated in chairing the Environmental Stewardship Committee for Landscape Ontario and the Environmental Committee for the Perennial Plant Association. And finally, Sean is making a difference in young horticulturalists today by teaching at Mowhawk College.
